It monitors performance against agreed policies, strategies and targets and provides advice and support to the Chief Executive and Director Scotland. Key Functions The board determines strategic and tactical action in line with the Corporate Plan (PDF 1.8Mb) and Framework Document (PDF 126k) and in response to policy direction from The National Committee and FC Scotland Management Board. It ensures robust corporate governance, internal control and health and safety compliance systems are in place and maintained. Finance The Management Board will be the forum for discussing and agreeing annual budgets and targets. Monitoring of progress against budgets will be carried out monthly and the Board will make decisions on the priorities for resource allocation and the necessary action to ensure desired outcomes are achieved. The board will evaluate proposals for new projects and partnerships. Human Resources In Human Resource management, the board supports and fosters the values of the organisation. Frequency of Meetings The Management Board will meet once a month. Dates will be agreed annually in March and will allow for the availability of financial figures and production of a financial report to the board. Records The Secretary will produce a brief record of the meeting, simply recording the main discussion points and any actions arising.
