Horsburgh Heights
 

This is a long distance trail taking you from the shelter of the wooded Glentress Burn to the moorland views of the Tweed Valley. Go prepared and your efforts will be well rewarded.

How to get there:

Horsburgh Heights can be started from Red Squirrel Car Park in Glentress Forest which is part of Forests of the Scottish Borders. Peebles is the nearest town or village.

One and a half miles east of Peebles on the A72, Follow the signs to the Red Squirrel car park.
