Ponds Trail

Take a gentle stroll beside the Priesthill Burn and around the ponds. Look out for dragonflies in the summer months. This trail is also designed to cater for those with limited mobility, wheelchair users and families with baby buggies.

How to get there:

Ponds Trail can be started from Priesthill Car Park in Newcastleton Forest which is part of Forests of the Scottish Borders. Newcastleton is the nearest town or village.

From Canonbie or Bonchester Bridge take the B6357, then take the unclassified road at the southern end of Newcastleton village and follow the signs for Dykecrofts. Go straight on past Dykecrofts car park until you reach Priesthill car park.
