Bennan Wood
 

The Bennan wood is near the picturesque village of New Galloway. This is a lovely wood alongside Loch Ken allowing the visitor superb views across the loch.

The wood has a variety of way-marked trails from a gentle easy stroll to a more strenuous ramble through the beautiful and quiet countryside of Galloway.

How to get there:

Bennan Wood is part of Galloway Forest Park. New Galloway is the nearest town or village.

From New Galloway:
Take the A762 from New Galloway to Mossdale.
From Newton Stewart:
A712 to New Galloway then the A762 from New Galloway to Mossdale.
