Loch Doon Car Park
 

The Car Park at Loch Doon is beside the re-erected Loch Doon Castle. Moved when the Loch was built. In the heart of the Carrick area of the Galloway Forest Park, this is truely the place to get away from it all.

How to get there:

Loch Doon Car Park is in Carrick which is part of Galloway Forest Park. Dalmellington is the nearest town or village.

From Dalmellington:, 1 mile south of Dalmellington turn off the A713 - signed Galloway Forest Park. Follow this road for 8 miles along the side of Loch Doon.
