Recreation at Kennick Burn carpark
 

This is a quiet carpark situated just off the B795. The trails start from this carpark, but be careful when crossing the road.

How to get there:

Kennick Burn carpark is in Laurieston Wood which is part of Galloway Forest Park. Laurieston is the nearest town or village.

From Newton Stewart:, Take the A712 signposted New Galloway. At new Galloway turn right onto the A762 signposted Gatehouse of Fleet and Kirkcudbright. At Laurieston turn right onto the B795 Gatehouse of Fleet road and the Kennick burn trails are about two miles up the road.
