Craik

Colour rating today: turned golden turned golden
This forest is colourful later in the year, especially the Borthwick valley, which takes you to Craik Forest.

How to get there:

Craik is part of Forests of the Scottish Borders. Hawick is the nearest town or village.

From Hawick follow the A7 towards Carlisle.
At Martins Bridge turn onto the B711 and follow this road until you come to Roberton (very small village and school). Just beyond the school turn down to the left and then follow the unclassified single track road. Craik Forest is well sign posted.
