Tweed Valley Forest Park puts on a wonderful colour show.

How to get there:

Innerleithen - Elibank & Traquair is part of Forests of the Scottish Borders. Innerleithen is the nearest town or village.

At Innerleithen, turn off the A72 and take the B709. The forest edge lies on the other side of the bridge over the River Tweed, just outside the village.

The Tweed Valley Forest Park lies in the main woodland corridor between Peebles and Selkirk and boasts some fabulous visitor attractions.

The Forest Park is within two hours travelling time from many of the major towns and cities north and south of the border - perfect for day visits.
