RIVER TWEED NEAR INVERLIETHENElibank and Traquair forests meet at the Bold Burn and form the largest woodland in the Tweed Valley. Predominantly coniferous and with fine views.

Mammals: We have information about Red squirrel, Roe deer, Badger and Otter

Birds: We have information about Black grouse and Osprey

Insects and reptiles: We have information about Adder

How to get there:
At Innerleithen, turn off the A72 and take the B709. The forest edge lies on the other side of the bridge over the River Tweed, just outside the village.
